What We Do
This is a booking and matching service, and not a plumbing or heating firm. You ring or send the form, we note the fault and your address, and we put you in touch with an independent local plumbing and heating company from our partner network that is free to reach you and suited to the work. None of the work is done by staff of ours.
The Partner Company
Whichever company accepts your job is owned and run independently, and forms no part of London Boiler Repair, Plumbing. The contract for the work is between you and that company. It inspects the problem itself, writes its own quote, carries out the work and then bills you and collects payment itself.
Payments
No payment for plumbing or heating work passes through us, and we issue no invoices for it. Whatever you owe for a repair, a service or an installation is paid straight to the partner company that did it, on the terms you agreed with that company. A question about a bill should go to that company first.
Quotes and Pricing
Prices are set by the partner company after its own inspection, not by us, and are put to you in writing before any work begins. We do not quote jobs or promise a price or a timescale on this website or over the phone. Price ranges on this site come from published guides and are indicative only. Ask the partner to walk you through its written quote before agreeing.
Complaints and Problems
If something is not right with the work, raise it with the partner company first, because it carried out the work and is best placed to put it right. If you cannot reach a resolution with the partner, call 07380 899348 and we will help chase it up. We cannot promise a particular outcome, since the work and the contract are with the partner.
Our Responsibility
What we do is limited to receiving your enquiry and arranging the match with a partner company, so far as the law allows. We are not responsible for that company's workmanship, pricing, scheduling or conduct. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law, which cannot lawfully be excluded.
Gas Emergencies
If you smell gas, ring the National Gas Emergency number on 0800 111 999 before contacting us. We are not an emergency gas service and cannot make a gas escape safe.
